Your dashboard preferences are personal. They change what you see, and they do not affect anyone else on your team. Open Settings and choose Dashboard.
What you can set
- Default reporting period: the period the finance dashboard uses when it first opens.
- Default cash-flow view: which chart view appears first. You can still switch views on the dashboard.
- Default Action Center view: which queue opens first, such as the review queue and open client work.
- Deadline window: how far ahead the Action Center looks for tax and compliance due dates.
- Automatic refresh: refresh the dashboard every 5 or 15 minutes while the page is open, or refresh manually. Background tabs stay paused.
- Finance context: show the company, the books-through date, and review status above the KPI cards.
- Quick actions: keep direct access to upload, transactions, reconciliation, review, close, reports, and Ask Max.
Choose Save preferences. A confirmation says your dashboard preferences were saved.
