Recognize suspicious messages

What to do with an email or text that asks for a code, a password, or a payment.

Updated 2026-10-11

Phishing messages often copy a real company's look. A few habits protect you.

  • Never share your password or a verification code with anyone, including someone who says they work at Institution.
  • Go to the sign-in page yourself instead of following a link in an unexpected message.
  • Be cautious with urgent requests to change payment details or send money.
Security

If you are unsure whether a message came from Institution, do not reply to it. Forward it to support@institutionhq.com and delete it.
